FEATURED CASE STUDY

A.C.T. Construction & Renovations

A connected marketing system for an Alberta construction and renovation company.

Strong real-world work was not being represented by one clear online system.

The opportunity was bigger than posting more often. Social content, project proof, the website, Google visibility and future campaigns needed to support the same business priorities.

The work also needed to represent more than one category. Current organic visibility is strongest around soffit, fascia and eavestrough searches, while kitchens, bathrooms, basements and other interior renovation services offer room for stronger search visibility.

Direction

Content strategy, competitor review, service priorities and the connection between channels.

Organic content

Social planning, writing, publishing direction and project-based content development.

Website + SEO

Website content, keyword development, search opportunities, blogs and stronger service proof.

Google presence

Google Business Profile content and monitoring of calls, clicks and profile views.

Jobsite media

Basic photography and video capture used to document real projects and processes.

Repurposing + reporting

Turning source material into multiple assets, then reviewing what the platforms actually recorded.

One project stopped being one post.

Project footage and photographs became short video, before-and-after content, process explanations, website proof, case-study material, search content and ideas for email and future advertising. The same work could help somebody notice the company, understand its value and find a relevant service later.

Why filter out branded searches?

Removing searches that include “ACT” helps isolate discovery from people searching for services rather than directly searching the company’s name. It is not a perfect attribution model, but it gives a clearer view of non-branded organic visibility.

Build broader visibility around interior renovation services.

A significant share of current organic visibility comes from soffit, fascia and eavestrough-related searches. The next opportunity is to strengthen the content and search structure around kitchens, bathrooms, basements and other interior work while continuing to document real projects across the company.
